Seen HIM? Person Of Interest Sought In Newark Homicide

The Essex County Prosecutor's Office is asking the public's help identifying a man seen leaving the scene of a fatal shooting in Newark last month.

Faheem R. Muhammed, 27, was found shot multiple times around 7:45 p.m. in the area of 409 Lyons Ave. Oct. 7. Muhammed was pronounced dead at University Hospital shortly afterwards.

Authorities have identified a person of interest, who was last seen in surveillance video running north on Wainwright Street. The prosecutor's office released images from the video (attached).
